Random: What are you doing right now?

So there's a way to play Xenosaga after all? I'm glad you'll be able to play. And I suppose games will load much faster from the HD. It sounds like a lot of work though, I'll stick to the standard modded PS2 for now because I won't have the time to study and get all that working for now. Thanks for the info, I've saved it in case my PS2 reader gets worse or I find enough new games to do that ^_^.

Yeah, thats pretty much my stance on it too. My PS2 is over 3 years old, and after getting some sound clipping in Star Ocean 3 recently, i decided it was about time to go the HDD route. It also means i dont have to use the slide card to play imports anymore, which according to sources (ie. Xel), is a dangerous method.

As for Xenosaga, i'll probably get it working next weekend when i have more time. Its one of those things that'll either take me several minutes, or several hours of work, depending on how accurate the tutorials are. It'll certainly be strange playing the game after all this waiting, and im still very much looking forward to it. You can be sure i'll write a review when it gets going. ;)

Well, personally I don't really like the anime series, but I love the OSTs (what you get on the dvds), and Samurai X is just generally the best samurai anime out there.

I got tired of these calculators where you have to press gay buttons, that's so geek unfrinedly. So GeekCalc was born.

Of course, I use a Perl line - print eval "@ARGV" - in the command line most times, but this was fun to create.
